Dnipro-1 midfielder Eduard Sarapiy commented on the victory over Dynamo in the second round of the Ukrainian championship.
- Eduard, how would you rate your debut in the Premier League?
- Yes, for me this game was only the first in the Premier League, because now emotions are overwhelming. I also had to play against the team in which I was brought up, because at one time I was in the school of Dynamo Kyiv. So now all these emotions are simply beyond words. And my relatives, who watched this match, were also delighted! I'm very happy.
- Did you know in advance how the partners would play a corner?
- I saw that they would play two-on-one and I was confident in Sasha Pikhalenok that he would hit the near post. This is our preparation, which we planned. I just ran and closed. It's good that it all turned out that way.
- How difficult was it after the loss to AEK in the Europa League to adjust to the game in the championship?
— We came here right away for the glasses. We tuned in to fight, because it’s enough to lose — we need victories, we need points! I hope that this victory will inspire the whole team and we will not be stopped anymore.
