Artem Frankov: "Television wars, where the UPL is just an avatar of the FFU, promise to be especially cruel this season"

Well-known Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov spoke about the situation with the attempt of the UAF and UPL to organize by force a single television pool for broadcasting matches of the Ukrainian championship.

“Television wars “eleven against five” (more precisely, “UPL against five”, where the UPL is just an avatar of the FFU, and five is the “plus” Dynamo, Dnepr-1, Zarya, Metalist, and so or otherwise “Shepilov who joined them”, that is, a completely independent “Rukh”) this season promises to be especially cruel and principled.

So far, it has come to the non-admission of film crews with UPL and Setants to the matches where the “tele separatists” are the hosts, and reciprocal YouTube bans. There, it’s not far from points scores - the UPL / FFU may well launch such a measure, although it is unlikely that it will come to something really serious: without the top five, the UPL and all its competitions lose the slightest sense. In general, they will choke, but carefully.

As for the fans, I don’t want to impose anything on anyone, I’ll just make one obvious remark: broadcasts on the 2 + 2 channel are public and free, on Setanta Sport, with all due respect, no, and you still need to find a service other than "Megogo", which provides access to the channel.
