The management of "Chelsea" plans to continue cooperation with defender Rhys James and halfback Mason Mount, reports The Times.
James' current contract runs until 2025 and the parties are negotiating a new long-term contract. Chelsea wants to build a team around another of its pets in the future, so the parties sat down at the negotiating table already during the summer transfer window. Mount's representatives agreed with the club on a new contract that will run until 2028.
