Well-known Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov expressed his opinion on the controversial decisions of the arbitrators.

“As you know, last weekend in the Premier League, the VAR system made two scoring errors at once. Firstly, because of Jarrod Bowen's alleged attack on Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, West Ham's goal was canceled (total 2:1 in favor of Chelsea instead of 2:2), and secondly, because of the alleged attack KP goalkeeper Vicente Guaita was disallowed for Newcastle's goal.

This is important for those who are bileing about my allegedly ignoring mistakes in favor of Chelsea, but also important in itself. Please note that both bloopers are about the same thing. Let me remind you that not so long ago Chelsea lost two points for a similar reason, and they also admitted the error of the VAR.

Here a clamor and barking arose, but not about that. Again they howled that the VAR deprives football of emotional content (and did you see the joy of the fans in Brugge when the Bayer goal was canceled?! Yes, they were not so happy about their own!) - well, why is this, to put it mildly, controversial and one-sided statement?!

Got it. The real problem is the reduction in the responsibility of referees, who got the opportunity to whistle at random a dozen times a match or not react at all, so they will insure in the ear! Defective practice, which is the result of errors in theory ... Yes, judges interpret the same thing in different ways, no matter how the commissions and teachers puff! Moreover, do you think that these pseudo-fouls would not have been recorded in European competitions or another country?
