Dynamo seized the advantage with the starting whistle and offered the Lviv team a rather high pace. But things did not reach the point of sharpness at the gates of nominal guests. In the first half of the first half, only Burda's header after a flank pass can be noted, after which the ball flew over the crossbar.
But in the 32nd minute of the meeting, the people of Kiev achieved their goal: Garmash from the central zone gave the right to Tsygankov, who, bursting into the penalty area of Lviv, played forward on Buyalsky, who sent the ball into the goal in touch - 1:0. This goal did not bring changes to the course of the match, but Dynamo had no chance to develop their success until the end of the first half.
The second half also passed under the sign of Dynamo's advantage, but, like the first half of the meeting, it passed without much sharpness. Of all the events of this segment of the match, only a spectacular long-range shot by Kabaev right on target can be noted, which Ilyushchenko managed to throw. The rest of the game went on without any issues. As a result, the second half absolutely naturally ended without goals, and the referee of the meeting recorded the victory of Mircea Lucescu's team with a score of 1:0.
Thus, Dynamo got its first points in the current championship of Ukraine (recall that in two opening matches of the tournament, the people of Kiev lost to Dnipro-1 and Zorya).
