On Sunday, September 11, in the nominally home match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Championship, Dynamo Kyiv defeated Lviv 1:0. The meeting was held in Lviv at the Arena Lviv stadium. Your attention is the post-match press conference of the head coach of the capital team Mircea Lucescu.

- We played against a team that acted aggressively and with great dedication. They were waiting for mistakes from our side in order to go on the counterattack and score the ball. It was hard to open their defenses. We dominated, the result showed the balance of power on the field. Unfortunately, we only scored one goal. We hope that this victory will give us enough positive emotions while preparing for the Europa League match with Cypriot AEK.
The problem is not in the game, but in the fact that we are constantly on the road after each match. Opponents have been waiting for us in one place all week, and we are constantly skating, playing every 3-4 days - this is difficult. We move from hotel to hotel, from city to city, that is, there is no stable base, no place where we could be. We drag a bunch of things with us - uniforms, balls, other materials. To get to Istanbul for the last game with Fenerbahce, we traveled 11 hours by bus, the next day there was a flight and again a bus. The opposite is exactly the same: the same 11 hours, either by plane or by bus, instead of recovering or training for those who did not participate in the game, this is difficult.
That's why it was so important to win today, no matter what. In previous games, many mistakes were made, including individual ones, which led to conceded goals. There was also a football nefarious. I repeat, in today's game it was important to win in order to now more calmly prepare for the next match.
In addition, now we are having a difficult period also because 5-6 players are injured and dropped out for an indefinite period - this also affects the psychological state of the team. We rejoice at this victory and are preparing for the next match with the Cypriot AEK. The most important game is always the next one.
Imagine that, for example, I haven't been home for three months. But tomorrow after breakfast we leave for Krakow, when we get there, we don't know if there will be a training session or not, it's also not determined. And so every time. We are not complaining - this is the reality. Football is our profession, our life and our responsibility.
After the Europa League match with AEK in Krakow, the players will disperse to national teams. From the point of view of psychology, it is difficult for collectors not to see their family again and travel somewhere again. After they return to the club, our travels around the cities of Europe and Ukraine will continue again.
- Today you replaced Tymchyk and Vivcharenko, who played on the flanks of the defense, with Dubinchak and Karavaev. Were you dissatisfied with the way they played?
- I refreshed the attacking game, because I ask the full-backs for more movement. In addition, both Karavaev and Tymchik will leave for the national team, and they need game practice to get ready.
