The head coach of Dnipro-1 Oleksandr Kucher commented on the victory of his team in yesterday's match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Championship with Kharkiv Metalist 1925 (3:0).
“I really liked the game! We controlled the course of the match. In the first half, a goal was not enough for the opposing team to open up, and then we would have had more free zones and chances even before the break. But we should have scored anyway.
In the second half, we scored the first goal and the opponent began to open zones for us, after which we scored both the second and third goals. I liked that both Artyom finally scored - Gromov and Dovbik. Before that, they created many chances, but they failed to score. Of course, we are very happy, because today we got a well-deserved victory. We scored three points and now we will move on," Kucher said after the match with Metalist 1925.
It should be noted that after the games played, Dnipro-1 ranks third in the standings of the Ukrainian championship, lagging behind the leading Kolos and Shakhtar by only one point, but having a game in hand.
