Head of the UAF Ethics and Fair Play Committee Francesco Baranca spoke about plans for Russian betting companies.
According to the official, the UAF is currently working on one of the issues related to the line of Russian bookmakers, which includes the main football championships, including matches of Ukrainian teams.
The problem lies in the access of bookmakers from Russia to betting data from international suppliers. The object of criticism in this vein is the Swiss company Sportradar. Special attention is paid to the CEO of the data provider Karsten Kerl, who is also a minority shareholder of Liga Stavok.
Baranka is also outraged by the fact that Russian bookmakers place bets on sporting events in Ukraine in their line.
Based on this, the UAF is working to exclude the possibility of betting from Russia on football matches in Ukraine.
