Ukraine overtook Russia in the UEFA coefficients table

Ukraine moved up in the UEFA coefficients table, overtaking Russia. This happened thanks to a draw between Shakhtar and Celtic (1:1) in the second round of the Champions League group stage.

The draw of the team of Igor Jovicevich with Celtic brought the Ukrainian association 0.2 points, which allowed the Ukrainians to bypass Russia and rise from 16th place to 15th. Now Ukraine has 26.300 points. Switzerland is in the 14th position - 26.925.

Recall that the 15th position gives two places in the Champions League qualification. The current rating affects the distribution of vouchers in the 2024/25 season.
