“We completely beat the opponent and deservedly won this match,” Valeriy Gorodov on Dnipro-1’s victory over Apollo

One of the Dnipro-1 coaches Valery Gorodov commented on his team's victory over the Cypriot Apollon (3:1) in yesterday's away match of the 2nd round of the Conference League group stage.

“We diligently prepared for this game, analyzed the actions of each Apollo player. We are very happy with this victory. I think that we completely beat the opponent and deservedly won this match. In my opinion, our team played very well today.

All of our teams are having a hard time right now. We have been without a family and Motherland for six months, but all our players have rallied and presented a real holiday for all our Ukrainian fans," Gorodov said after the match with Apollo.
