Alexander Pikhalenok

- Was it annoying yesterday because of the delayed flight, were you a little upset that you couldn’t get to the first recovery training?

— Yes, the flight was delayed for two hours. We thought that we would come to the training, but it happened. But today we have already started training in full.

“Today, the first serious, fairly intense training took place, serious work is already beginning. What are your impressions that tactical developments and schemes immediately began today, because there is not much time?

- Yes, we immediately switched to the national team, we are preparing for the match with Scotland at 100%, all we need is a victory.

- Of course, Scotland is ahead twice, Armenia, a very busy schedule, how do you look at this moment, that we will have very little time to recover?

- This is our job, it won't be so hard, because in the clubs we have games every 3 days, so I think we're a little used to it.

- Ukraine is still the leader in the League of Nations group, but it is always difficult to stay in the first place and in general how do you perceive this tournament?

- Emotions are running high, it's a pleasure to play for the national team, I will give myself 100%. Scotland and Armenia will prepare for us as leaders of the group, but the whole struggle is still ahead.

- Some say that the League of Nations is not a prestigious enough tournament. What's your opinion?

- I don't know why they say that, because it's a great honor to play in every tournament under the auspices of UEFA and FIFA.
