Napoli have sent words of support to former team captain Lorenzo Insigne following the heartbreaking news that his wife Jenny suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy.
Lorenzo InsigneThe 31-year-old football player and his family now live in Toronto. In the summer, the striker moved as a free agent to the MLS club of the same name. Lorenzo started his tenure in Toronto well, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 10 MLS games.
"Dear Jenny and Lorenzo, the entire Napoli family is with you and hugs you tightly," Napoli said in a statement.
In connection with this tragedy, Insigne will miss the upcoming matches of the Italian national team in the League of Nations.
