The press service of the Russian Football Union stated that UEFA and FIFA did not inform them of the decision on the organization's appeal because of the words of the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Oleksandr Petrakov.
“To date, the RFU has not received official notifications from UEFA and FIFA on the results of the appeal related to the discriminatory statements of the head coach of the Ukrainian national team. If the information about the warning and the fine is true, we are satisfied with the fact that the punishment was imposed as such.
At the same time, the RFU reserves the right to continue to apply to the disciplinary bodies of UEFA and FIFA in the event that the rhetoric and actions of certain officials and organizations contradict applicable standards, ”the press service of the RFU said.
