The match started at a rather low pace, and the Ukrainian national team, despite the positional advantage, for some time did not create anything at the gates of the Armenian national team.
But closer to the middle of the first half, the Ukrainians managed to increase the pressure in the attack, and almost immediately it brought results. At the 22nd minute of the meeting, Mykolenko joined the next attack of the Ukrainian national team on the left flank, passed the pass to the penalty area for Tsyhankov, who developed a combination for Zubkov, who completed a cross to the far post, and Tymchyk put the final scoring point of this episode in a stretching touch , having entered the goal of the Armenian national team with the ball - 0:1.
Having conceded a goal, the Armenians tried to seize the initiative, and to some extent they succeeded. However, the home team failed to achieve anything but an improvement in the percentage of ball control in this segment of the match. As a result, the teams went to the break with a minimal advantage of the Ukrainian team.
In the second half, there was an open chaotic game on the field without a clear advantage of one of the teams. Nevertheless, in such conditions, the Ukrainian team managed to build on its success. At the 57th minute of the meeting, Tymchik broke through the right flank, shot into the penalty area, and there Zubkov sent the ball into the goal net of the Armenian national team with a touch from eight meters - 0:2. 12 minutes later, the Ukrainians finally removed all questions regarding the outcome of this match: Yarmolenko played the goalkeeper's game, where Zubkov literally from the goal line sent the ball into the goal of the Armenian team - 0:3.
This goal broke the Armenian national team, and in the remaining time the hosts did not create the slightest problems for the Ukrainians. And, in the end, the guests managed to score the fourth goal - it was Ignatenko who scored a scoring shot from outside the penalty area - 0:4. Dovbik put an end to this match in the 84th minute of the game, who, when serving from a corner, managed to guard four (!) opponents and sent the ball into the net with a shot from the goalkeeper's line - 0:5.
