Midfielder of the youth national team of Ukraine, Heorhiy Sudakov, commented on the defeat (2:3) against Slovakia in the first playoff match of the Euro-2023 selection (U-21).
"I am a football player and I should not comment on the referees' actions. First of all, you have to be responsible for the actions of the team, for your own game.
Slovakia is a good team that fights well, plays well without the ball. I think it's one of the strongest opponents we've played against. It's hard to comment on anything at the moment. When we break down the game and analyze it, we'll have something to say.
We played well, we gave up undeservedly. I think that in the next match we will play much better both in attack and defense. The stands helped, we heard them. Thank you very much for your support. It's nice that Slovakia has our people who pushed us forward," said Georgy Sudakov.
