Saturday's League of Nations match between the national teams of Armenia and Ukraine (0:5) became the 111th match for the guests' midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko in the Ukrainian national team.
This allowed the 32-year-old winger to overtake Andriy Shevchenko in the list of record holders in the number of matches played for the Ukrainian national team. Ahead of Yarmolenko and Shevchenko is only Anatoly Tymoshchuk, who played 144 matches for the main team of the country.
However, as you know, Tymoshchuk, who became a traitor to Ukraine, is officially deprived of all the titles and regalia that he achieved as a Ukrainian football player.
