The Armenian national team suffered from Ukraine the biggest home defeat in a year (0:5). For the most part, the Armenian press decided to bypass the analysis of the game itself, being content with only the bottom line - a potential relegation from League B.
The journalist of the Armenian portal Football365 unleashed his anger on the head coach of Armenia, Joaquin Caparros, who did not react to the complete dominance of the Ukrainians on the field during the game:
"The activity of the Armenian team faded very quickly. Capaross did not understand how to turn the game around. We were toothless, there was no obligation to the players, no will, perhaps no desire. It was a terrible game, and who should be responsible for this shame?".
The observer also added that the Armenian football players showed such a low level of play that the fans plunged the stadium into complete silence out of boredom:
"Our team played such bad football that even the fans who had gathered in the stands did not take off their masks, so Petrakov's voice resounded throughout the surroundings of the stadium. Caparossa's indifference before this match paid off. He knows absolutely nothing about the players of his team.".
