Several RFU employees refused to return to Russia from Bishkek after the sparring of the “Russian team” with the Kyrgyz national team due to mobilization, local media reported.
The Russian Football Union declined to comment on this information. Obviously, it was after this incident that the local Ministry of Sports forbade the Russian teams to travel abroad, thus carrying out a successful self-disqualification.
