The leader of the Bundesliga "Union" Berlin announced on its official website about the extension of the contract with the head coach Urs Fischer.
The term of the new contract with the 56-year-old specialist has not yet been announced. The Swiss took charge of the club in the summer of 2018. In his first year in Germany, Fischer managed to take Union to the top division, after which he kept the team in the elite.
After seven rounds of the German championship, Union is in first place in the standings with 17 points.
