It is reported that the decision to terminate cooperation with the 66-year-old Spanish specialist was made by mutual agreement of the parties.
Caparrso was appointed head coach of the Armenian national team in March 2020. After that, the Spaniard brought the Armenian national team to the “B” division of the League of Nations. However, in the current season of the tournament, the performance of the Armenian team turned out to be a failure: only 3 points in six matches in the group with Scotland, Ukraine and Ireland. At the same time, the Armenians lost to the Ukrainians with a total score of 0:8. The current series of defeats of the Armenian team has already reached five matches.
