On September 30, "Veres" played its first match in more than 5 years in Rivne at the reconstructed "Avangard". What caught the eye the most was the almost completely filled VIP box at the stadium.
According to wartime security protocol, 280 people are allowed at matches. But the point is not only in the number, but also in the fact that among them there are clearly defined categories that can be in the match. These are officials, club representatives and people without whom the match cannot take place:
90 - football players and coaching staff
9 - referees and video assistants
6 - bolboys (over 18 years old)
20 - representatives of clubs
11 - Match Officials
15 - representatives of UAF, UPL, PFL
20 - Stadium staff
20 - persons responsible for security
10 - medics, police, emergency services
9 - representatives of military administrations and other authorities
40 are journalists and photographers
30 is a film crew
Serhiy Koval, adviser to the club president and member of the UAF Dispute Resolution Chamber, responded to the criticism of the actions of "Veres" in the comments on Facebook. He stated that there were no violations. In the manager's opinion, if the UAF match delegate did not indicate in the report, then this cannot be a violation:
"There were no violations. The total number was about 280 people.
I'm all for people being at the game. Fans, etc. A simple question: the first match at the stadium is requested by the ZSU, requested by the administration, friends of the club, sponsors, another club. Who to refuse?
Hundreds were not allowed, but dozens were invited as a result. Have you violated the regulations - you need to see the delegate's report. Did they violate normal logic - no, definitely not. That's how it should be.
I just don't understand what the claim is? Is it just noise for noise's sake?
The problem lies in the protocols that are built on something that is not clear. The problem is that everyone says work with sponsors - and sponsors want attention and come to the game. The club works, and as a result - well, you are "like everyone else".
The problem is that "Veres" wants to gather all the fans in the stadium, but we are not allowed. We launch the authorities and sponsors - we are watered and treason is written.
Just criticize – do better. It's just that in practice in clubs there are many problems - and any solution means someone's dissatisfaction. Well, we're not asking for universal love, we're just making the club grow".
But it turned out that "Veres" not only distributes invitations to everyone at the request of the ZSU, the administration, friends of the club, sponsors and the visiting club, as Koval explained. In fact, the club openly sells seats in the VIP box on the official website.
It turns out that not everyone has the same security protocol. Despite the ban on visiting spectators during the war, by paying 100,000 hryvnias, you can attend all Veres home matches and bring one additional guest with you.
Here is the announcement of the club:
"VBC is a community of like-minded people who not only help to develop NC Veres, but also make a huge contribution to the development of the entire region!
Veres Business Club members receive the following privileges:
— Access to the VIP box for all Veres home matches (+1 invited guest);
— an exclusive closed meeting of all club members once a quarter;
— the opportunity to enter the team's locker room after a winning match!
— Organized away matches in the circle of VBC participants.
The price of a member of a closed club is UAH 100,000/season.
As you know, the matches are now held without spectators, and only representatives of the Veres Business Club will have access to the stadium in the VIP box, except for officials.
For those partners and friends who are already sponsors of the People's Club, there is an opportunity to apply a 50% discount, but Veres Business Club is not about money, it's about supporting the People's Club!"
