The Kievans established control over the ball from the first minutes and began to pick up the keys to the Minai goal. The home team chose a cautious game from defense with their tactics, focusing on protecting their possessions.

However, already in the 2nd minute, the first dangerous moment arose at the Minai goal, when, after a cross into the goalkeeper's area, the Transcarpathian defender intercepted the ball only at the last moment. Another scoring chance came in the 5th minute, when the captain of the White-Blues Oleksandr Yatsyk tried to throw goalkeeper Vladislav Savchenko from close range, but he also threw the goal with him.

Dangerously, Anton Tsarenko shot on target, moving from the flank to the center and shooting from outside the penalty area into the far corner, but Savchenko played reliably. A few minutes later, Tsarenko was already shooting sharply from the flank. Gorbach's cross was also dangerous, but it was interrupted by a defender.

In general, the first half passed with the full advantage of the people of Kiev, however, the teams went to the break with a zero score on the scoreboard.

At the beginning of the second half, Dynamo finally got their way and opened the gates of the home team. After a pass by Kremchanin from a corner from the right flank, Savchenko played uncertainly at the exit, failing to properly kick the ball with his fist. The ball bounced to Tsarenko, who fired a one-touch shot into the center from the far post, and Igor Gorbach sent the ball into the net from the goal line.

A few minutes later, the people of Kiev scored the second goal. After a vertical pass from his half of the field, Artem Slesar burst into the penalty area of Minaya and converted a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Having failed to keep their gates shut, the home team began to attack more actively, however, Dynamo did not allow them to create dangerous chances at their gates. It started to rain and gradually the pace of the game slowed down.

In the 72nd minute, Dynamo was very close to the third goal, when Yatsyk successfully went into pressure in someone else's penalty area, but the goalkeeper reacted to his kick, after which Kremchanin was ahead of the defender on the goal line.

In the 83rd minute, the White-Blues almost scored again: Yatsyk shot under the crossbar with a direct free-kick, but Savchenko made a save, moving the ball to a corner.

Minay created their best moment in the penultimate minute of the meeting, when Popovich jumped out to a rendezvous with the Dynamo goalkeeper, but Ignatenko reacted to his blow.

As a result, Dynamo won thanks to two goals scored at the beginning of the second half.
