Poltava signed a midfielder who played in Russia. The footballer turned to the Armed Forces

Russian midfielder Sergey Karetnik, who previously played in Russia, was included in Poltava's application for the First League match against Chernihiv (1:1). The football player is also in Poltava's application on the PFL website, but is already declared as a Ukrainian.

It should be noted that Karetnik was born in the Poltava region, is a graduate of Dynamo and a former player of the Ukrainian U-16 national team. In 2013, the football player moved to Russia and received Russian citizenship. His last club was Dynamo Vladivostok.

According to Transfermarkt, the transfer took place on September 22 as a free agent. Karetnik also played in Russia for Kuban, Anzhi, Olimpiets, Yenisei, Tom, Shinnik and other clubs.

The newcomer of Poltava commented on his debut for the Poltava club and announced an interview with the club press service: “I thank all my relatives for being by my side.
