The source ranked the teams by the number of passes they made during the match. The leader in this indicator was the English "Manchester City", performing an average of 754 passes per game. Next come the Japanese Albirex Niagata (713 assists) and the Portuguese Benfica (708). Rounding out the top five are French PSG (693) and Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv (682).
It is interesting that there was a place in this rating for two representatives of Ukraine. Shakhtar Donetsk was in 9th place (660 passes) in terms of the average number of assists per match, while Dynamo Kyiv was in 15th place (643).
