Spanish government spokeswoman Isabel Rodriguez said that the government supports the idea of including Ukraine in the bid for the right to host the 2030 World Cup.
“Of course, the government supports the inclusion of Ukraine in our application, because it is always good when sport is combined with the world,” Rodriguez said in a comment to Efe.com.
Recall, earlier it was reported that Ukraine plans to join Spain and Portugal and submit a joint application to host the World Cup in 2030. In case of successful application, Ukraine will host the matches of one of the groups of the tournament.
