"Atletico" managed to "beat the price" for Griezmann's redemption

The management of "Atletico" Madrid has agreed on a full transfer of Antoine Griezmann from "Barcelona", reports Mas Atletico

We will remind that Antoine Griezmann is on loan at Atletico. The bosses of "mattress" managed to agree with "Barcelona" on the purchase of the French forward. Atletico will pay 20 million euros for the player.

Previously, the 31-year-old Frenchman remained in most matches on the bench, entering the field only from the 60th minute. Such a decision of "Atletico" was connected with the fact that, in the case of a certain number of minutes played in Griezmann's contract, a mandatory buyout is activated - 40 million euros, which the "mattress players" did not want to pay.

We will remind that Antoine Griezmann defended the colors of "Atletico" from 2014 to 2019. After that, "Barcelona" bought the striker for 120 million euros.
