President of the Spanish Football Federation Luis Rubiales expressed his opinion on whether the war will affect the hosting of the 2030 World Cup matches in Ukraine.
“We hope that by 2030 the conflict will be resolved. We want this candidacy to unite Europe, not just the Iberian Peninsula,” said Rubiales.
Recall, earlier it was reported that Ukraine submitted a joint application to host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal.
