The triumphant season of Dynamo Kyiv in 1975, in which the White-Blues won the Cup Winners' Cup and the USSR championship, was crowned with a victory in the UEFA Super Cup.

After a sensational victory against Bayern in Munich in the first match (1:0), on October 6 at home, the people of Kiev convincingly brought the matter to an overall victory - 3:0 after two matches!
