The head coach of "Vaduz" from Liechtenstein Alessandro Mangiaratti summed up the results of yesterday's match of his team with "Dnipro-1" (2:2) in the 3rd round of the group stage of the Conference League.
“We started very badly, the first 10 minutes were very terrifying for us. We could not play our own football, and Dnepr-1 constantly attacked and did not give us room. As a result, we already conceded a goal in the 5th minute, which created problems for us.
But then we got together, started to put pressure and create chances. After we equalized the score, we felt confident in our abilities. This gave us strength and the team felt that they could play as always.
We started the second half very well, we scored right away, but we could have scored a few more goals. And in such moments, our players usually decide the situation in their favor, but this time it did not happen. In general, I think that the game was very informative, and everything was very good.
We could have scored three more goals, but we must remember that we play in the second division of Switzerland, and Dnipro-1 is considered one of the strongest teams in Ukraine. We will learn from everything and play even better,” said Manjaratti.
