Andriy Polunin: "The claims against Malinovsky are completely logical"

Former player of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Polunin told what he thinks about the results of the "blue-yellow" team in September.

— I consider the performance in the League of Nations unsatisfactory. We did not fulfill the main task. They say that the reason is the weak authority of Oleksandr Petrakov after the conflict with Ruslan Malinovsky. I don't think so. After all, Malinovsky failed to play the match in Scotland, so complaints against him are quite logical.

Oleksandr Petrakov did not complete two tasks out of two. Apart from the League of Nations, he did not lead the team to the World Cup. In four months, the national team led by Petrakov did not win as many as three key and most important matches: one against Wales and two against Scotland. Yes, against the background of such indicators, it is necessary to change the coach. But for whom? You can give a chance to charismatic coaches Rebrov, Markevich or Pavlov, the expert told the newspaper "Express".
