The Turkish striker, who was matched in Dynamo, accused the media of lying

The central striker of Fenerbahce and the Turkish national team Serdar Dursun, who was recently actively matched with Dynamo, got into an unpleasant situation related to his alleged commentary to the media.

Serdar Dursun

The day before, an “interview” with Dursun appeared in one of the well-known Turkish publications, in which he allegedly announced his readiness to leave Fenerbahce even for Besiktas or Galatasaray if he was given match practice there. Also in this “interview”, Dursun confirmed that he was indeed invited to Dynamo by Mircea Lucescu.

“If I don’t have the opportunity to play in a team, I might consider leaving in January. There were many offers from other Turkish Super League clubs. Maybe Galatasaray, maybe Besiktas. An offer from Dynamo Kyiv? I didn't want to go there because of the war. Lucescu asked me personally,” reads the message attributed to Dursun.

Shortly after this "interview" appeared, the Fenerbahce forward claimed on a social network that the media had published false information about him.

“The statements allegedly belonging to me, published today in the Sabah newspaper, are not true. My only goal is to win the championship with Fenerbahce and fight for a place in the squad,” wrote Dursun.
