Casillas apologized for his Twitter post about being gay

Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has apologized for a deleted Twitter post saying he was gay.

The ex-goalkeeper addressed his audience of 9.6 million followers: "I hope you respect me: I'm gay." After some time, the Spaniard deleted the post and apologized to his followers that his account had been hacked. Account hacked. Fortunately, everything is fine. I apologize to all my followers. And, of course, most of all - in front of the LGBT community."
