Google may become a sponsor of Tottenham Stadium

Tottenham are in talks with Google about renaming their new stadium, The Athletic reports.

Since its opening in 2019, Spurs' arena has been technically called Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although the president of the London club, Daniel Levy, has been open to offers from investors from the beginning.

The search for a generous sponsor who would be willing to pay good money to rebrand the stadium led Levy to Google. At the moment, the Internet giant and Tottenham are in "substantial negotiations" regarding the terms of the deal.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium cost Tottenham £1 billion and has a capacity of 62,850. One of the best football arenas in the world hosts not only Spurs matches, but also rugby and American football games, boxing matches and concerts.
