The Football Association of England has launched its investigation into the clash between Arsenal and Liverpool players at the end of Sunday's Premier League match at the Emirates, according to The Telegraph.
The incident of interest to the Association happened just before Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka converted a penalty awarded by referee Michael Oliver to give the Gunners a 3-2 victory.
Oliver's decision to call the penalty spot sparked a furious reaction from players on both teams, with Jordan Henderson, Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Magallanes particularly emotional.
It is currently unclear who may have insulted whom and with what words during this clash, but the incident was so serious that Oliver spoke to the head coaches of both teams after the final whistle and the FA immediately launched its investigation.
