The goalkeeper of Metalist Kharkiv Oleksandr Rybka was injured in the first half of the Friday match of the 6th round of the Ukrainian Championship with Rivne Veres (2:1) and could not continue the game.
A medical examination conducted revealed a meniscal injury in the 35-year-old goalkeeper and the need for surgical intervention.
Last Monday, Rybka successfully underwent surgery in one of the Kyiv clinics, the press service of Metalist reports. The estimated recovery time for the goalkeeper is one month.
