UEFA has named the refereeing team for the match of the 4th round of the Europa League group stage between Dynamo Kyiv and French Rennes, which will take place next Thursday, October 13.

Serdar Gezubyuyuk is the chief referee of the Dynamo-Rennes match

The Dutchman Serdar Gezubyuyuk has been appointed as the main arbiter of the meeting. Interestingly, the future referee was born into a family of emigrants from Turkey in Haarlem. Gözübuyuk's main profession is a motivational speaker.

Since 2010, he has been working at the matches of the top division of the Netherlands, since 2012 he has a FIFA category. The referee has never officiated matches involving Dynamo in European cups. At the same time, Gezubuyuk worked in several matches with the participation of Shakhtar Donetsk (against Young Boys - 2:0 in the Champions League qualification in 2016 and Borussia Mönchengladbach - 0:6 in the Champions League group in 2020 ), as well as the Ukrainian national team (friendly game with Wales - 1:0 in 2016).

It is important to note that the Dynamo-Rennes match will be the first for the Dutch referee this season on the Euro arena. In the Dutch championship, Gözübuyuk has already worked in seven matches, showing 29 warnings and appointing one penalty.
