Darijo Srna: Real Madrid were lucky, we deserved to win

Football director of FC Shakhtar and former captain of the Croatian national team Darijo Srna commented on the draw in the Champions League match against Real Madrid.

— I'm upset because we deserved 3 points in the match against the best team in the world. I was upset because Shakhtar, the Ukrainian people and Ukrainian fans of the club deserved to win today. But everything is ahead, I am proud of my players, team and coaching staff. So to play against Real Madrid is a great respect from me.

Football players are heroes, because 2 days ago a difficult situation arose, because of which they were worried. We are fighting for our country, and today Shakhtar fought for points in the Champions League and promotion.

Moving on, two more matches ahead. It will be hard, but we live the dream to go further.

- Will the match against Dynamo take place in Lviv?

— We were offered to play in Warsaw, but we refused because we want to play in Lviv. We want to be in Ukraine now, with the Ukrainian people and hold the derby where it should be. And over time in Kyiv and Donetsk. If there is a match, it will be in Lviv. We insist on this.
