Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has revealed why Cristiano Ronaldo is getting little playing time.
"Ronaldo is in much better shape and I'm happy about that. Now he can give the team more. This once again proves that no one can miss the pre-season training.
I want to support him as much as possible. We have certain requirements for players, what we expect from him in certain positions on the field. I want to see the best performance from my wards," 90min quoted the coach as saying.
This season, Ronaldo appeared in the starting line-up of the Red Devils four times, three of them in the Europa League.
