After three consecutive defeats in the group stage of the Europa League, Dynamo now has little chance of making it to the playoffs of the tournament. The well-known coach and football expert Oleg Fedorchuk told whether "Dynamo" have prospects at the equator of the distance.

— With restrained optimism (smiles). This is me based on how Dynamo looked in the match against Rukh Lviv.
The only thing that was upsetting was the loss of the second goalkeeper of the capital team, Denys Boyk. Ruslan Nescheret is a promising goalkeeper, but he does not have the same experience of international meetings as Georgy Bushchan or the same Denys Boyko.
"Dynamo" has good options for conducting the game in attack. First of all, this concerns the interaction between Viktor Tsygankov and Vitaly Buyalskyi. Therefore, on the eve of an important game against Rennes, Kyiv has progress.
— Can "Dynamo" still compete for exit from the group?
- Need to win three remaining matches. But even this does not guarantee second place, so you should also hope for luck.
Although at this stage, the domestic championship is more important for Dynamo than getting out of such a critical situation in the Europa League. Not getting into the Champions League zone will be absolutely bad for the club.
— What are Dynamo's most urgent problems now?
— As I have already said, it is the loss of two goalkeepers, the injury of Mykola Shaparenko, the unclear play of the attacking group, especially the forward position. And Denys Popov's weak game was a revelation for me.
The main problem of the current "Dynamo" is actions in defense. There were enough miscalculations by the coaching staff, and the management failed the selection, even despite the situation in the country.
— However, "Rennes" must win...
- I agree. By a large margin, the match in France should have ended in a draw, but... "Dynamo" concedes goals too easily this season. The same "Rukh", which the Kyivans beat dryly, could and should have scored against a more famous opponent.
In my opinion, a great team can win not overwhelmingly, but without a chance for the opponent - that is, play reliably in defense. And when the team allows the opponent to attack a lot, then it is unbalanced.
— What will be your prediction for the match "Dynamo" - "Rennes"?
— I will bet on the minimum victory of Mircea Lucescu's team - 1:0.
