Andriy Shevchenko and Oleg Blokhin are among the top 100 greatest Ukrainian figures of all time

Former Dynamo football players Oleg Blokhin and Andriy Shevchenko are among the 100 greatest Ukrainian figures of all time. This year, in addition to the unchanging leader Taras Shevchenko, citizens included President Volodymyr Zelenskyi (29.8%), writer Lesya Ukrainka (19.6%), Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (17.3%) and the head of the OUN Stepan in the top five. Bandera (12.8%).

According to the survey data of the sociological group "Rating", Ukrainians also include Mykhailo Hrushevsky (11.6%), Ivan Franko (10.1%), Ivan Mazepa (8.8%), Vyacheslav Chornovol in the top ten (8.7%) and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhnyi (7.7%).

It should be noted that over the past ten years, the importance of Taras Shevchenko for society has somewhat increased. The popularity of Stepan Bandera and Mykhailo Hrushevskyi also rose, while the "significance" of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and Lesya Ukrainka decreased.

The survey was conducted by the "Rating" sociological center among 1,000 respondents on October 8-9 throughout Ukraine. The error of representativeness of the study with a confidence probability of 0.95: no more than 3.1%.
