Klopp: "I would prefer Pep to take a four-year vacation"

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp believes his life will be easier without Pep Guardiola. Ahead of the match with the "townsmen" in the framework of the 11th round of the English championship, the coach of the Merseysiders was asked about his confrontation with Guardiola.

"I would have preferred Pep to take a four-year sabbatical. In fact, it would have been better if he had rested for the past four years. Of course, this is all a joke. I don't know how many times I will have to say this, but he is the best coach in the world and he proves it every day. What he does is really special.

Pep and I are not the best of friends because we don't know each other well. I respect him and I know he also respects what we do," Klopp was quoted as saying by Goal.

Jurgen Klopp has 11 wins and nine losses against Guardiola's teams as manager of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
