The new CEO of the Football Super League, Bernd Reichart, said that the tournament could start in the 2024/2025 season.
According to The Financial Times, the Super League wants to change the format so that other top clubs agree to rejoin the project. So far, only three clubs support him - Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.
“At first, the dialogue can go on without English clubs. I will communicate with clubs in other countries, but this is by no means an exclusive initiative, this is an inclusive initiative,” Rinehart said.
