The so-called "Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea" Sheriff Osmanov said that local football clubs are ready to enter the Russian under-championship.
- We are looking forward to this, we hope that this will happen in the very near future. Negotiations are underway on this issue. Football infrastructure, in principle, is ready today. There are eight professional clubs on the territory of Crimea that are ready to participate in our common football main tournament. For a long time we have already missed the big tournaments," local media quoted the official as saying.
Osmanov kept silent about the fact that this same “football infrastructure” was killed on the peninsula back in 2014. We also recall that the “Russian Championship” is a kind of party in its own juice, which has no way out of the Russian football curb.
