Turkish Besiktas and the head coach of this team, Valerien Ismael, have agreed to an early termination of cooperation, Futbol Arena reports.
According to the source, the parties agreed to terminate the contract on the condition that Ismael receive half of his salary until the end of the current season.
The initiator of breaking the agreement was the leadership of Besiktas. The reason is the low results of the team shown in the starting segment of the Turkish Championship. After 11 matches, Besiktas managed to score only 19 points and is now in 5th place in the league table. At the same time, in the last five matches, the team managed to get only one victory.
Recall, yesterday it was reported that the current head coach of Dynamo Mircea Lucescu could become the new head coach of Besiktas. According to the Turkish media, for the leadership of the Eagles, the Romanian specialist is a priority candidate for the now vacant position.
