Chornomorets Odessa explained why the club twice refused Dnipro-1 in a request to postpone the match between these teams in the 10th round of the Ukrainian Championship, which is scheduled for next Sunday, October 30.
“We really refused for the reason that there are no free dates this year. We were looking for a date, but it doesn't exist.
Due to the refusal of all clubs to go to Odessa, despite the fact that there is permission to play in Odessa, namely Oleksandria, Kryvbas and Zorya (it is also written there by agreement of the parties), we shifted one game to the first numbers December.
We are obliged to complete this circle before the World Championship, that is, we cannot play on the 8th. We already spend 16 hours on trains. Our club is not against postponing matches, but only if there is a free date within the circle. A vivid example of this is the match against Kryvbas,” Chornomorets explained.
