UPL has changed the rules for determining the venue of matches

The UPL has changed the rules for determining the venue of clubs' home matches in the championship of Ukraine, says journalist Ihor Burbas.

"Elite clubs have decided to hand over decisions regarding the safety of matches in one or another region to the venues. They were allowed to do this by the powers that they, namely the organizers of sports events, have recently been given.

What does it mean. From now on, no one needs the consent of the opponent to play a game at home, if there is permission from the military administration of the region. Previously, only Kyiv and the region, Lviv and Transcarpathia were considered "green" regions.

As a simple example, conditional Shakhtar or Dynamo will no longer be able to refuse a trip to Kryvyi Rih or Petrov, if their rivals as hosts of the match have the permission of the regional military administration," Ihor wrote in Telegram.
