Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgy Sudakov, commenting on the draw with Oleksandriya (2:2) in the 10th round of the Ukrainian Championship, spoke about the difficulties of life and work during the war.
“We had a very difficult game with Alexandria, with air raid alert. First of all, it is mentally difficult, but I think we showed a good game.
The guys were tired, and I had more time to rest. As our head coach has already said, it’s very difficult, because every three or four days we have transfers - a plane, a bus, in which we travel for six hours.
Personally, it’s very hard for me: I have been living without a family for the last month and a half, I don’t see my child. First of all, it is psychological fatigue.
But due to a strong mentality, a strong team, a team, we prepare for each match to the maximum, we believe in ourselves, our team, in each of us. We are ready to fight from the first to the last minute and from the first to the last match,” Sudakov said.
