PSG striker Lionel Messi was not included in the team's application for the match of the 14th round of the French championship against Lorient on November 6.
"Due to inflammation of the Achilles tendon, Leo Messi will remain under the supervision of the medical staff. He will return to training with the general squad next week," the club said in a statement.
This season, the Argentine played for PSG in 18 matches in all competitions, in which he scored 12 goals and made 14 assists.
