Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladislav Vanat summed up the match against Chornomorets Odessa (3:0) in the 11th round championship of Ukraine, in which he again became the author of one of the goals of his team.
— Did you expect such a game from your opponents?
- I expected them to play like that. Not a bad team, but we analyzed their game well and naturally won.
— Mircea Lucescu described Chornomorets as a team playing, thinking, surprised that they scored so few points. Did the opponent create problems for you on the field?
— Yes, Chernomorets created problems for us today. Not a bad team, I am very glad that we managed to win quite confidently today.
— Last season you played for Chornomorets, in Odessa you adapted to adult football. What are your memories of this period?
- Then a lot of criticism poured out on us, the loaned Dynamo players and coach Yuriy Moroz - they say, it was we who dragged the team to the bottom. But, given the performance of the Odessa team this season, the problem was still not with us.
— You played a full match on the field today and managed to score even in the sixth stoppage minute. This goal — reward for effort?
— Yes, I really wanted to score a goal right here, in Odessa, and I succeeded. It doesn't matter if it's in the first minute or the last stoppage minute - you always have to play to the end.
— The team returns home to Kyiv. It inspires, adds moral strength?
- Of course. Perhaps, as a young player, I don’t have the same emotions as older partners who have families and children. I think that after such a long separation, it is important for them to be close to their relatives. But anyway, it's nice to be back home.
