Liverpool owner Fenway Sports Group has put the club up for sale, according to The Athletic.
The assets have already been assessed and potential buyers have been notified. The latter are not named yet.
Recall that the founder of Fenway Sports Group, John Henry, acquired Liverpool in 2010.
